Administration
The Faculty administration is run by the Faculty Council, the Dean, and the Faculty office. The Faculty Council makes decisions about e.g. personnel recruitment, dividing the funding allocated to the Faculty, approving the curriculula, and matters concerning doctoral and licenciate theses.
The tasks of the Faculty are determined by the university regulations for administration.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences has eight Departments. Each of the Departments is governed by a Department Council and the Head of Department according to the university regulations for department administration.
