This year’s SCAPE will be held at the Archipelago Research Institute of the University of Turku located on the island of Seili in the southwestern archipelago of Finland (about 50 km from the city of Turku, see map below). The meeting takes place between Friday the 23rd and Sunday 25th of October. Seili has beautiful nature and old hospital buildings with interesting history. The hospital buildings date back to days when people afflicted by leprosy or mental illness were deported from the mainland to Seili.

Accommodation will be in rooms accommodating 2-5 people. The registration fee covers all meals and accommodation during the meeting and will be 230 €.
Few participants have announced their will to enjoy the exciting Seili atmosphere a little longer. On Monday there will be boat transportation to Nauvo after breakfast. The cost of the extra night is 50 €.
