Those who have few extra hours in Turku or are staying there a little longer, see Turku Tourist Information's web page for ideas and information.
Seili is situated ca 50 km south-west of Turku. Because Seili is an island it is accessible only by boat or ferry. To make your travelling easier we will organize a special SCAPE-transportation from Turku to Nauvo by bus and from Nauvo to Seili by boat. We warmly recommend that all of you would attend the special SCAPE-transportation!
The special SCAPE-transportation bus leaves from Turku bus station (see map for Turku, search for busstation) on Friday 23rd at 2 pm (14.00). The boat to Seili leaves from Nauvo at 3.30 pm (15.30). On Sunday the 25th the SCAPE-transportation leaves from Seili at 2 pm (14.00) and arrives to Turku bus station around 4 pm (16.00).
The distance between Turku airport and Turku bus station is about 8 km, and can be traveled by a local bus or by taxi. The number of the bus line is 1, and the ticket costs 2,5 eur / person. Ask driver to leave you at the bus station (linja-autoasema), as the the end of line is Marketplace (Kauppatori).

The second best option
If you can’t make to our special SCAPE-transportation on Friday, the second best option is to arrive to Nauvo by bus (or car) and to Seili by ferry. The bus from Turku to Nauvo leaves from bus station at 15.30 (Nauvo at 16.55) or 16.30 (Nauvo at 17.55). The bus is green and white with text "Skärgårdsvägen / Saaristotie". The ferry from Nauvo to Seili is leaving at 18.15. Please inform us if you are going to use this option: we have to inform the personnel of ferry that somebody is going to travel to Seili.
Arriving to Nauvo by car
The Nauvo harbour can be reached via Saaristotie (road nr 180), which forks from the Turku-Helsinki motorway in Kaarina. The distance from Kaarina to Nauvo is about 40 km. The Parainen-Nauvo ferry crossing is along the route; the ferry operates according to a timetable (about four times per hour in the summer season). The ferry timetables can be found on the Ferryportal webpage.
