This year’s SCAPE will start with “the special SCAPE-transportation” by bus from Turku to Nauvo on Friday 23rd at 2 pm (14.00). From Nauvo we continue by boat to Seili. The venue of this year’s meeting, the Archipelago Research Station, is located on the island of Seili that is not easily reached by public transportation. Therefore, we hope that all of you could attend the special SCAPE-transportation!
SCAPE 2009 program in Seili starts on Friday evening with dinner, poster session, and a get-together party.
Saturday is packed with interesting talks. We have two invited key note speakers, Dr. Lynn Adler and Dr. Mark van Kleunen. There is a break after lunch with possibilities for outdoor activities. The conference-dinner will be held on Saturday evening, followed by social interactions, including dancing in Leper Disco with DJ Leper II, sauna, etc.
Sunday will be filled with exciting presentations until the lunch time. For those staying longer than Sunday we will have several suggestions for trips in the surroundings. Special SCAPE-transportation will take us on Sunday from Seili back to Turku where we will arrive around 4 pm (16:00).
Presentations will be 15 minutes + 5 minutes for discussions.
