The most usual reasons for rejection year after year are (in 2011):

  1. The documentation provided by the deadline did not prove that you meet the formal requirements concerning the English language proficiency. (38 %)
  2. Your previous studies were not in line with the programme/subject you applied for, or your success in the previous studies has been inadequate. (37 %)
  3. Your application did not include all the required documents by the deadline. (9 %)
  4. The documentation provided by the deadline did not prove that you meet the formal requirements concerning the educational background. (5 %)
  5. Your application documents were not delivered in the requested way, or were not certified as true copies as requested by the Degree Programme. (5 %)
  6.  Even though your application met our formal requirements, you could not be admitted due to our limited admission quota. (4 %)
  7. We have not been able to verify the authenticity of all your documents. (1 %)
