MAAN6001 Introduction to geoinformatics (4 ECTS)
It is recommended that the course is taken before the course "EKOL3134 Use of GIS and remote sensing in studying biodiversity", which is organised in period 3.

Note that MAAN6001 is primarily meant for foreign students. Finnish students should preferably take the course "MAAN6081 Kartografian ja geoinformatiikan perusteet".
